Spreading the Good News to the Filipino-American Community

It is not enough to discover Christ --
you must bring Him to others! The world today is one
great mission land, even in countries of long-standing
Christian tradition"

THE LITURGICAL SEASON'S HIGHLIGHT-

THE ASCENSION OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST

"His face shone like the sun and his clothes became white as light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, conversing with him."

-- Matthew 17, 2-3

WELCOME
TO OUR MAIDEN ISSUE
ON THE WORLDWIDE WEB

In the Apostolic spirit of St. Paul, who first made full use of the most modern media of his time in order to share God's message, we would also like to bring His Word through the latest technology in communications.  St. Paul utilized the political stability and wide reaches of  the Roman Empire to send his letters and admonitions to the early churches.

Today we are offered the Internet and the Worldwide Web,  with an opportunity to instantaneously reach an awesome number of people. Here is our small contribution to this modern Pauline Apostolate - The Filipino Catholic on the Web.

The Filipino Catholic on the Web is an attempt to reach those readers who cannot always get hold of our printed issues.  We shall try to reproduce here as much of the printed issue as possible, but we will initially be limited in scope because of manpower constraints. Send us email at Info@FilipinoCatholic.org if you wish to receive our free printed copies, or if you wish to volunteer your web design expertise, submit an article, or make a donation.
